Ian Fisher was introduced to art at a young age as he grew up in his mother's art gallery in Nova Scotia, Canada. Focusing on painting and drawing, he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2006. Since then, Fisher has been exploring his practice while residing in Denver, where he keeps his studio. He has exhibited nationally and internationally alongside artists such as Damien Hirst, Ann Hamilton and Kiki Smith, and has artwork in both private and public collections. Fisher's work is now on display in a solo show titled "Turbulence" at the Buell Theatre in Denver CO.
